OPTIONAL OPTICAL LENSES
Mares offers corrective lenses for most models. In addition to the negative corrective lenses (-1 to -7), some models also have positive (+1.5 to +3). Mares design makes it quick and easy to install lenses.
ERGO BUCKLES
Mares uses the most innovative buckle design in the World. These buckles make adjusting the split strap fast and intuitive. Sturdy yet compact, they are designed specifically to optimize the advantage of Mares skirt mounted buckles.
BUCKLES ON SKIRT
By attaching the buckles to the skirt masks have superior hydrodynamics because the strap fits closer to the head. In addition the tension exerted by the strap acts on the skirt and not directly on the frame reducing the pressure of the frame against the face.
LOW INTERNAL VOLUME
Masks with less internal volume are more compact to store in the jacket pocket. The distance between lenses and the eyes is less and the result is a wider field of vision. For the apneist, less volume makes easier compensation.
